Responsibilities:
Conceptual development and design direction of interactive, and print
projects.Interactive included both Mac and PC format CD DVD projects as well as internet
projects using HTML, Java, Flash, quick time, and Shockwave technologies.
Print projects included direct mail, advertising projects for magazines as
well as international news paper insertions, DVD and VHS packaging for major motion picture studios.
Collateral material including catalogs, system guides, parts books and posters.
Handled client presentations and directed advertising campaigns.
Client list includes: MGM Home Entertainment, Disney Studios, Fine Line
Cinema, Coke, Columbia Tri Star, Fox, Adidas International, Nike, Tripwire, HP, Intel, Lacie, and many others
NOTE: I created and directed the Suma Group web site which won the 1999
Portland Ad Federation Rosey Award for best interactive web site design. In the same year I won the 1999
Oregon Newspaper Associations Award for best graphic presentation.

Direction for the creation of all illustration, graphics, and web site development for ISP and commercial
clients. Creation of all print and web advertising from concept to completion for Internet related projects.

April 82 to Sep. 95:

Medea Inc. (Iwata airbrush), Frisk Products USA and Nakoda Air Systems.
Responsibilities:
Creation of all marketing plans and advertising campaigns for all three
companies. Trained and maintained a national sales force of up to 60 independent sales reps. Develop all sales
tools to aid sales, and dealer network. Directed the creation of all print advertising from concept to media buying.
Directed the development of all collateral material including buyers guides, catalogs and direct mail pieces.
New product development including design, manufacturing, importing, pricing,
sales force training, dealer orientation and dealer sales staff education.
Organization of trade show exhibits on the dealer and consumer level. Trade
show key speaker at consumer trade shows as well as organizing and running consumer workshops and
seminars.Key speaker for Tools of the Trade show, Art Material Trade Association Consumer show, LA Society of Illustrators.
Organized lecture and seminar tour that was presented in over one hundred
universities across The United States for the purpose of training university instructors and students. Founder and first president of The National Society of Airbrush Arts.
My airbrush work was featured in the following publications: (book) Hot Air, The complete Airbrush Book, (magazines) Airbrush Digest, Airbrush Action, CA, Step by Step Graphics, How, Art Material Trade News.
Organized three day intensive workshops on product usage and application.
Workshops were conducted throughout the United States and continued over a seven year period of time. I personally instructed over one thousand students in these workshops. Students consisted of graphic professionals from various
art and graphic disciplines. Contributing writer for commercial art material
market magazines including, Art Material Trade News, Art Product News, Step by
Step Graphics magazine, Graphic Art News, Airbrush Digest and Airbrush Action.
Owned and operated Nakoda Air System:
Developed, manufactured and sold domestically and internationally various
commercial art material products.
Created OEM component products sold to Australia, South Africa, Europe,
Japan, and others.
Maintained west coast sales territory for all three companies and held the
top sales figures for fourteen years.
Marketing and Product development consultant for the following
companies: Iwata, Frisk, Martin Universal Design, Createx, Wacom
Technologies, Boyd Converting Co.
